Stylist: Jamie

About Jamie:

After completing beauty school with a cosmetology license, as well as a cosmetology instructor’s license, Jamie began her career at David Velasco Salon in January 2002.

In the many years she has spent with David, she has been to a number of classes and shows including Color Clusters with Dee Levin in Philadelphia PA, Beauty Classics in Columbus OH, and also education with Beth and Carmine Minardi in New York City. She has also attended courses in cutting and coloring techniques given by Wella, Rusk, Pivot Point, and Toni and Guy.

Jamie is part of the educational team in the salon, working side by side with David, training our assistants in advance haircolor techniques and theory.

Jamie is certified in bio ionic relaxing, Rusk relaxing and also the newest Brazilian keratin treatment. She specializes in blondes, trendy modern highlights, double processing, multi-dimensional color, and color corrections. Her vast knowledge of the industry and love of her craft makes her a sought after stylist.

Personal Side:

Jamie grew up in Bucks County and after living a few years in Pittsburgh, has returned with her two children, Natalie (4 years old) and Dylan.( 2 ½ years old) She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the shore, reading, and working out.
